Decent Phone for a Good Price September 6, 2010 K. Jackson (California) This phone is small and light. The shape of the phone makes it hard to rest against your cheek but the phone is light enough to hold for hours. The phone has enough features for my needs, including eight different ring tones, a hold button, and an intercom. The speakerphone is very clear and is not hollow sounding like some others. Battery life is sufficient and I can leave the phone off the charger for about 4 days with an equal mix of phone usage and standby time. This is my first V-Tech phone and I would buy one again.
Dumb and beautiful August 27, 2010 Jyu Zen Pros:
- Svelte
- Light-weight
- Good sounding speaker
Cons:
- Drops calls for no apparent reason.
- In speakerphone mode, does not convey voice to the person on the other end of line whilst that person is talking. ; unsure if this is only an issue only with VoIP lines.
Bottomline:
Beautiful, but NOT reliable.
Lacking new technology. August 10, 2010 Lori J. Woodley I bought this phone thinking the only thing I was sacrificing was the answering machine. I was wrong. In the phone book, you can choose a group of letters (abc, def, ghi, etc)to get to the area of the phone book you need however you cant get to the specific letter of the name you want (unless it's the first letter of the group like a, e, g, j, m, etc). After you get to the first letter of the group, you have to 'scroll' through all the names to the one that you want. Another thing about the phone book... there is no way to sync the phone with it's other handsets. You have to re-enter the names and numbers manually on each handset. I think Vtech could have used more technology in those areas.
Great product June 21, 2010 Frank W. Thompson II (Baltimore, MD) This product provides all of the functions, is easy to use and is comfortable to hold.
Nice phone June 13, 2010 pinito I like this phone, stylish, great sound. My only issue is that the tal and end buttons do not illuminate. Otherwise I ould have given it 5 stars
